Hugo Bordereaux

Doctoral Student

Hugo is a French PhD. student at EPFL’s Reconfigurable Robotics Lab, where he explores haptics and human-robot interactions to develop intuitive, responsive, and adaptive robotic systems. His research focuses on enhancing human experience via multiple tactile interfaces.
He earned both his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s in Robotics at EPFL. His academic journey has fueled his passion for designing interactive robotic systems that improve human capabilities.

Hugo believes in the power of collaboration to advance innovation. Outside the lab, he enjoys organizing events linked to music, discovering new cities, and immersing himself in nature.
